Research

One of our main interests is to develop experimental and numerical techniques of various flows of complex fluids such as hair conditioner, milk, blood, and fine bubbles. In addition, the flow control due to surfactant and polymer additives, i.e., the rheological drag reduction is investigated as the promising energy-saving techniques which contribute to the circulating society.

Our main research projects are as follows:

  • Research on experimental and numerical techniques of various flows of complex fluids.
  • Research on flow control, energy saving, and engineering application of complex fluids.

Our goal is understanding of various complex flow phenomenon of complex fluids.
